When I read this story in the local newspaper here in Florida, I was filled with disbelief.

The purpose of a teacher is what?

To educate!?

To encourage!?

To bring out the best in each student, so that they can fall in love with learning.

NOT to humiliate a five year old.

This experience will stay with him for rest of his life.

He felt sad when this happened. 

The harm has been done!
